I'm 16 and have freckles. Lots of them, but only on my face. Should I get rid of them? And how?

well freckles are pretty or so i have been told. i have freckles to and hate them. use can use concealer to cover them and then a power. it was also use a bronzer to add color after applying powder! good luck

Confidence will even show through freckles:) Some find freckles anywhere from cute to sexy. Most, believe it or not, aren't so concerned with things like that. However, appearance is about what makes you feel good. Since you are asking, it probably means you are unhappy with the way you look. Everyone is unhappy about some aspect of their appearance. If you decide, for you, not having freckles is best, a couple options exist. Traditionally, bleaching creams, used to lighten the skin, are topically applied. This can cause uneveness, though, and prevent even tanning in the future, just from being in the sun, whether you "tan" or not. Irritation can also result. Chemical peels are the latest and greatest way to remove freckles, and either remove thin layers of skin at a time, or more layers at once. This is the safest and most effective route, but also the most expensive. If it is something you really feel strongly about, you can consult with a range of experts, from master estheticians, day spas, so called "MedSpas" or even plastic surgeons and other physicians will supervise procedures in office. It is all about attitude though. Confidence and happiness with yourself are beautiful. You decide what makes you happy.

Keep your Freckles!
I have had more guys comment on my 'cute' freckles than not. They usually turned out to be the guys that were more in tuned with me.

U cannot get it of them, and dont think about do it, because it is atractive, and cute, it stood u out of many other girls, it make u more unique. It like Cindy Crofford when she started her modeling career, many agency told her to get it off her beauty mark above her lip, she did not listen, and later it became her trade mark, and trend for many years( many girls even started to do tattoo beauty mark above the lips). she sat the trend that stood her apart from others and made it look sexy. Madonna had gap between two front teeth, she left it and made it as her trade mark.

I wanted to get rid of mine to. You can use make up to hide them for a day or so. They also have creams and lotions that lighten them but who knows what they do to the rest of your face.

i had a ton of freckles growing up! and loved them. i am 25 and they had faded, but when ever i get in the sun they reappear! love those little spots of gold!
