No I wouldn't.
Money doesn't buy happiness. If you have happiness, don't pass it up for more money, where you will be unhappy.

What is a job.....A job is a means to pay expenses so that you can survive. If you are surviving and happy, consider yourself lucky, there are alot of people who work to get buy hating their job, and there are those with even less who are happy.
Money can't buy happiness.

Take the "promotion". Keep moving up in the organization. That is how you build a career. Do not be afraid. You will be measured for your next position by the amount you are making then. If you stay where you are you will be measured by your current (and lower) earnings.

Sounds to me like you are the type of person others like. This is why you are being offered an improvement in your station.

Endear yourself to your new boss, surround yourself with the positive persons in the new office, stay away from any malcontents in the new office. Do this and you will enjoy your new position as much as you do your current position and co-workers. You have the power to make it happen!!!!

Go for it!!!! and Good luck.

For just 10% more i would say stay where you are!

The chances are you might not like your new place especially if its quite corporate and with more career progression opportunities means theres more people to compete with. Also, the atmosphere in some offices can be really dull and would never trade a group of lovely people for a bit more money. Its hard to find a job you like so i would stay stick with it!!

Move forward and give it ago, you would not of gone as far as you have, ie being offered a job without some reservation to staying at your old one.
Its one of those cases what if, whether you stay or go. I go to work to live not live to work. You make the best of the situation you have.

Best to regret something you did, rather than something you didn't! I say go for it. I was in the same situation just before christmas and stayed in my currnet role, instead of taking the extra cash.... i now feel, sometimes, what would have happend? how would things be? and when i'm skint, i really really regret it!

Good luck xx

Why are you asking this question ?

Everyone has different values. How much do you value your happiness ? Is it worth trading it for the extra £ ? Are you really happy in your current job ? will you really be that unhappy in your new job ?

Do what is right for you.

I would say that opportunities present themselves when they are supposed to...I would go for it because you might be even happier in your new job...or at least AS happy, and you'll be paid more as well.
