The best thing to look forward to next is hearing the baby's heartbeat. That was one of the greatest things about being pregnant. The doctor should do it for the first time between 10 and 13 weeks. Congratulations & Good Luck!

I just found out that I am pregnant also. And I second the part about exhaustion. I have been to sleep at about 7 every night. As far as what you should do next, make an appointment with your doctor. They'll probably want to see you when you are about 8-10 weeks along. I don't know what your doctor will do, but mine said to expect to talk about payment, do an ultrasound, and probably have some tests run. She said it would be an all day thing (joy, joy). Anyways, start being careful about what you take into your body and have your hubby start babying you! It's GREAT ;) !!!!

Ok, I'm about two a half months... My boobs still hurt horribly, i constantly feel like i'm going to get sick, but rarely do, that is generally a side effect lasting mainly during the first trimester (three months). You will start to gain weight and notice odd cravings... and most women can't stand the smell of cooking/frying meat... You can see the baby at pretty much anytime... i got my first ultrasound at 6 weeks, my baby was just a little peanut, but i heard the heartbeat and it was worth it.
You should definately be taking prenatal vitamins and get in touch with your doctor immediately to make sure everything is going as it should.
Everyone experiences very different things during pregnancy, no woman is the same as another. If you want more information i would recommend logging onto babyzone.com it's the best website i've found.

You can star feeling the baby flutter ( tickle in your tummy)at about 4 months. about 6 months is when you will feel and ometimes see the baby kick. I got morning sickness and car sickness often with my first. But experianced no sicknees with my second. so it really all depends on you and your body. I could never keep down my prenatal vitamins with my second so my doc told me to take two flintstone vitamins a day instead. WATCH WHAT YOU EAT!!!! you will regret it if you don't!!! just because you are pregnant doesn't mean you should eat the WHOLE chocolate cake! LOL. Eat as you normally would and stay away from POP! drink lots of water and do not start any excercise plans without consulting the docter first. This could cause stress on the baby.Oh and don't wast your money on those Baby monitors that let you listen to the babies heartbeat while you are pregnant. THEY NEVER REALLY WORK. sleep sleep sleep. Because you won't be able to when Baby pops out to join the world. CONGRADULATIONS MOMMY!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!! I have had two children ages 5 and 7 and am pregnant with a third. I never had morning sickness with either of them (I must be a lucky one) because my mother was sick all nine months. I didn't have any breast tenderness with my first but with my second (OMG) did it hurt for about three months. The tiredness will eventually go away I would say around 2-3 months but you tend to be very tired by the end of the day. Get lots of sleep in the beginning and end. They did ultrasounds on me when I first found out I was pregnant and another around 8 weeks to make sure I wasn't carrying twins or triplets. The next ultrasound was around 20 weeks to find out how well he/she was growing and the sex of the baby. The next one is usually around 28-30 weeks to make sure everything is on target with the baby and to make sure nothing is wrong with the heart. They do all the measurements of the heart, legs, kidneys, etc. This can usually determine how big or small the baby will be. That will usually be the end of the ultrasounds unless of course you pass your due date. Then they will do another one to make sure everything is ok. I had one done 2 days before my daughter was born. I saw her spine, legs and arms and of course her sucking her thumb. So cute. Anyway good luck with everything. Hope this helps.

I feel that pregnancy was the most wonderful time of my life. I knew I was incubating a new life. I got to read all those neat books on child rearing and early child development. I could start getting babies room ready and get those cute clothes. People would throw me a shower and give me more for the baby. Don't forget to take your Prenatal vitamins. At about 4 months or so the doctors can give you an ultrasound so you can see your baby. (I got mine at 2 months because I was a very high risk pregnancy and they were sort of expecting twins to appear on the ultrasound.)

well, you can get a sonogram and see the baby anytime you want! you get to find out the sex around 18 weeks and thats about the same time you start feeling those little kicks and punches from the baby .. which is their way of saying, "HI MOM!" :)
it's fun .. that exhaustion will soon subside! the second tri-mester is a breeeeeze! that's when the morning sickness and tiredness leave and all the fun begins!
so, by the 3rd trimester when it comes back .. you'll know what your baby is and get to feel those kicks .. so it makes the 3rd trimester tiredness and nauceousness all worth while!
enjoy your pregnancy! :)
good luck! God bless!

36-40 weeks of being plain uncomfortable, No just kidding ! well not entirely there are bright spots when you are around 15-20 weeks you get an ultrasound and you will see you baby moving around stuff you cant even feel you will be able to see. then there is feeling the baby move or being able to see a kick through your shirt . it feels sorta like butterflies......and then seeing the baby after you give birth I think most women would agree that those are the bright spots. Congratulations !

Well when I was pregnant with my daughter I never got sick once, but with this one I have been the whole time. They usually do an ulrasound to see what it is around 15 weeks, they may do one earlier to make sure its growing right.I always loved hearing the heartbeat its great, and seeing the baby on the ultrasound, but nothing compares to hearing that little cry for the very first time, its incredible. Congratulations

first...just CALM DOWN...this is a great experience, please don't analyze or micromanage it to death. Just relax and enjoy, cuz it really doesn't last long. And whatever you do, don't buy any stupid books like what to expect when your expecting, it will only drive you crazy. ENJOY! And relax! And get hubby to pamper you. Go get your hair and nails done. Treat yourself, cuz baby will take ALOT of your time. Good luck!
