Another question that confirms my stance that Turkey should never be considered European or a member of the EU.
Robertaa: Achilles and Alexander were Greek, not Roman. You guys are sadly uneducated.
Gabriel: Your information about the Spartan army is so incorrect, it just makes your obvious lack of reading and knowledge of history painfully evident.

Ganymede, in Greek mythology, a handsome young Trojan prince whom the god Zeus, in the guise of an eagle, snatched from the midst of his companions and bore up to Mount Olympus. He was granted immortality and replaced Hebe, goddess of youth, as cupbearer to the gods. Ganymede was later identified with the constellation Aquarius, “the Water Bearer.” He was chosen by the god because of his beauty and Zeus "loved" him.
Hyacinthus, in Greek mythology, handsome Spartan youth loved both by Apollo, god of the sun, and by Zephyrus, god of the west wind. One day, as Apollo was teaching the young man to throw the discus, the god accidentally killed Hyacinthus. From the blood of the youth, Apollo caused a flower (not the modern hyacinth, but possibly the iris or larkspur) to spring up, each petal inscribed with an exclamation of lamentation. According to another legend, Zephyrus was jealous of the youth's love for Apollo and blew upon the discus, causing it to strike Hyacinthus.

I think that is your perception! I wonder why you perceive them that way. Narcissus was in love with himself.
Some may perceive Shakespeare to have many gay references, as in Midsummer Nights Dream. Some say Shakespeare was in love with his ghost writer Marlowe and Anne Hathaway was just a cover.

turk,
The ancient Greeks did not distinguish between 'gay' and 'straight' sex...to them sex was just sex...and virtually no notice was paid to one's preferences.
