we lived in Germany for like 2 years now and we´re gonna go back to the states next week and I´ve got a real cool friend here, who stuck to me when I was in trouble and so on, anyways, I´ll have to give something to her as a farewell gift, something typical for us, any ideas? (we´re both 15 (girls)).

A scrapbook with pics, and memories, a frame with a favorite photo of the two of you, you could even give her a calling card so she can call you. If she likes to write letters you can buy her some stationary. If you have a video camera you could make a video and make a copy for the both of you.

Here are some ideas :
1. You could give her a scrapbook with things that you guys did together and pictures of you too.
2. You could just write her a simple letter explaining how nice, and kind she was to you and how much you had fun with her, memories, and such...
I don't know what else to tell you, but I know it should be something home-made and from the heart --I think that would really mean something special from you to her.
