that is a hard one! i would say if you have understanding parents then sit them down and explain it to them. if they are not so understanding then mabey you should have a friend with you for support. i myself am bisexual and i have never told my folks and i am 30 now.i can not ever tell them because they would flip out and my mom would never get over it!! each person has to decide if it is the right time to tell the ones they love,if you are having major doubts on telling them then mabey now is not the time for you to tell them. i wish you the freatest luck in the world sweetie!!

You've got a couple options. It all depends on how open and honest you want to be with your folks. If you want to be really close, then sit them down and do the whole coming out thing. Build up your confidence first and be prepared to be kicked out. If you kinda want some relationship with them, avoid talking about your love life when you can and if you're cornered say something that outs yourself. If you don't care if they know anything about you and want to get by without a fight, then lie and avoid telling them the truth until you're not dependent upon them.

tell them the truth if you have a good relationship. If you think they are going to freak out, get someone to go with you like an older sibling, a teacher or counselor, or someone else that you trust will stay objective. Once the initial shock wears off, they will still be your parents and should accept you as you are.
