Copper is a global commodity market, prices in the UK reflect prices in China and everywhere else, so it's unlikely, but why not check out the figures?

Why not see if there is a market for the copper first?

Then get an idea of what it will sell at.

Then work out your potential profits.

That way you will understand if it is worth it.

Why not?
Here in cornwall, a county built on Granite, we have just had the pavements in the main street paved in granite - from China !! People are not happy about it but apparently its cheaper to bring it half way around the world from China, than to bring it 8 miles down the road from the local quarry.
Very sad ! (maybe moreso for the "?slave" labour being used to quarry it in China)

To determine pricing go to Demolition, Scrap Metal and Salvage News. Site posts scrap metal and spot market prices for copper, brass, aluminum, steel, HMS , etc. world wide (china, europe, korea, india)
