Yeah, they're a pain in the butt! I usually just say no thanks and hang up without waiting to hear them waffle on about rubbish. When I'm feeling cheeky, I string them along - ask if they could provide 40 mobiles for your business (or similair) wait till they get all excited then tell them if you ever own your own business you might give them a call! Swiftly hang up!!!

i did used to work at a call centre i hated it but it was money. i didnt like pressuring ppl,im not that sort of person! but i did have some nice conversations about ppls hoildays an such like.u gotta remember that these ppl that phone are only doing their job it can be annoying but what would u prefer ppl sponging off the state or earning their own money? many call centres employ ppl who are at uni or college an they work there as the hours suit!

I have fun with them, like letting them sell me a conservatory for half an hour and then telling them I live on the third floor.

That's telemarketing.... Not particularly nice. Always call at tea time...

They always ring when I'm cooking the evening meal or in the bath. They always atart off with asking for me by name and asking..'How are you?' As if they care!!!!! They should have been drowned at birth

yea the ones from india who call and you have no idea what they are saying...but the ones that work in the us i guess not because they provide jobs

i do and have you noticed all the ones in india make their names english .i had a male phone up today calling himself Yvonne smith. doh....

yes i get them all the time ,i have caller id so know who is calling when it is call centres i answer the phone put it to one side and leave them talking away to themselves
