it's motto is "in God we trust"

1) I live in New Mexico
2) the state motto is "Crescit eundo" ("It Grows as It Goes")
3) If I had to re-do the state motto it would be "The land of manana"

Georgia (and just for the record - LIPPs' you're wrong) - with a little checking the state motto is:
Wisdom, justice, and moderation
I have to admit. I kind of like that. Everyone could use a little of each.
Though I also kind of like, "Not just a place for rednecks." I'm sure my country kin would agree it's a very true statement.

The state motto is "Hope"
The state motto should be "Hopefully this politician will not be crooked!"

Iowa. I think our motto is "Our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain." Not bad. Sums up the liberal side of the state anyway.

i live in New Hampshire....there motto is "live free or die"...and that is very true here.....don't pay taxes here....(except FICA)
