It’s not just the office, I get shocked by the door handle on the truck. I get shocked every time I touch a cubicle. I get shocked when I open a drawer on the office. It’s getting really annoying. I dunno what I am doing that’s making me getting shocked so much.

It probably the chair that you are sitting in. If you rub around in the seat it charges your body so when you touch something it discharges. I dunno much you can do besides wearing a grounding wrist band like I use when I build computers. As for the truck you can take out your keys first and touch them to the truck first to discharge yourself pain free before you get in.

I feel your pain. If I could invent a anti-static pill, I'd be a millionaire. I think you can be more prone to it as nobody in my family seems to have this problem and I go around getting shocked by everything. I get it so bad, I can usually see the sparks-it sucks.

I've found in getting out of the car to hold onto the steering wheel while grabbing the outside of the door works when exiting a car, though.

U need to do something to raise the humidity above 50% . A key is good to discharge things like the car door, etc. Hold the key firm in your hand and touch the door knob with the Key. U will hear the spark jump but it will not hurt.

first are you rubbing your feet on carpet or are your clothes wool.
touch everything with something metal once the charge is gone you won't get shocked because the metal absorbed the charge.
