In 2006 I did parttime studies, and moved into fulltime studies in 2007. I realize that not all tax programs and accountants are equal. What would you recommend that I do for my taxes? Will I get everything back if I am a student (i.e. expenses for a computer, textbooks, tuition in US dollars)?

According to http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tax/individuals/topics/income-tax/return/completing/deductions/lines300-350/323/eligible-e.html you need to get a Form TL11A filled out by the school (you can find this form at http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/tl11a/README.html)

Common deductible expenses for students can be found at http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tax/individuals/topics/income-tax/return/completing/deductions/lines300-350/323/menu-e.html

Once you get your forms indicating the period of study, tuition and deductible fees, you can file your taxes.
