like what is the procedure to take a weapon with you when you are travelling by an aeroplane.

You have to have permission from the country you are traveling to. A lot of countries do not allow their citizens to have guns, so if you want to bring one in make sure you have permission. The gun will probably be disassembled and the ammunition will be separated. the boxed will be put in the belly of the plane where you will not have access to.

you should check with the airline directly. More than likely you will need to disable the gun and store it in a locked bag or box. This will obviously need to be stored under the plane, and not with your carry on luggage. If all else fails and you are not allowed to travel withit it on the plane, you could always overnight it via FedEx or UPS.
