Because I'm my own person,,,I am a grown-up,,,I make my own decisions,,,I am the one that has to live my life and give account for my actions,,,therefore I don't need anyone telling me what to do

Some things may be beyond your ability to perform...some may contradict other things you've been told to do, thus you cannot accomplish both.
Why would you want to do what everybody tells you to do? The point of humans being able to think for themselves (versus living on instinct as most animals do) is so we can make our own decisions.
