I hope you are aware that he was born in Pennsylvania, and also spent time in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida, amongst others. He also spent time as a representative in the Virginia General Assembly.
I think its quite possible, and probable, that he could have become even more involved with Kentucky politics, as he became involved almost everywhere he went in one way or another, but to what extent would be pure speculation, imo.

Danl Boone was in fact a major player in Kentucky politics. He was just too restless to hang around, which sometimes happens.
