It is a medal not a coin. It was made by the Franklin mint, but I don't know what year. It is no older than the 1960's. It is 45mm and made of bronze. Jacob Coxey was a businessman who led a group (army) to Washington DC. They wanted congress to authorize public works projects. I guess there was more than one group leaving from Ohio but only one group of about 500 actually got to Washington. I have seen the medal for sale for from $5 to $8.00. They are either not really rare, or the collecting community is not interested in them. Sounds like a neat piece of history to me.

Check out PCGS.com if it is a real coin from the US Mints. It can give you a rough value and/or history of the coin. If it is a commemorative coin look on ebay for a similar coin

Find you a coin magazine with coins dating back to 1800-1900 you should find what you are looking for, never herd of this one, However there were lots of coins minted at different places you just have to research it until you find what you are looking for. good luck.
