What happened on Battlestar Galactica last Sunday?!? **spoiler alert**?

So is Starbuck really gone for good? I sort of saw it coming when she was talking to Lee about where to hang her picture, but wow... I couldn't believe they'd have such a major character die!

Her ship blew up in an environment that would make survival impossible, so she's definitely got to be dead. Which means there's no way she could come back unless she's a cylon. But if she's a cylon, then her mother must have been a cylon too because she would remember giving birth to her, right? I can't imagine the writers making Kara's mother one of the final five cylons, so that means Kara can't be a cylon either unless they are willing to put up with a major plot-hole..

So does that mean she's just gone? I can't believe it! I was sick of all the love triangle crap, but I never thought it'd be resolved like this! Well, on the bright side, I was getting pretty bored with the show and now I can't wait to see what this leads to..

Anythings possible. To have her go nuts and die is a disservice to the Starbuck character. I am a firm believer she will be back. I like the suggestion that maybe the cylons have her.

I do like the way Baltar is becoming a cult figure. A working class hero. He was really able to tap a Marxist nerve with the opressed working classes. It just goes to show how people can be easily led while in a disperate circumstances and need some kind of change.

Memories are changable and that Cylon guy changed her memories of her mothers dieing, so why not have them all as fabrications?

yeah, I was thinking she might be a Cylon but she also had her hand on the eject button... so who knows maybe she ejected at the last second and the Cylon nabbed her.......

I don't think they killed her off for good though... she has some sort of destiny and I don't think it was just to die....
