I need my taxes done ASAP. I live in Detroit so i trying to find a place that's in the motor city area. but that is free and legal. Not h&r block or any companies similar.

If your income is under about $40K per year, find a VITA or TCE site in your area. See irs.gov for more info on these programs - put VITA into the search box

or maybe try emailing or contacting one of the local universities like U of D or Wayne State and seeing if they offer any free tax services. I go to Albion in Michigan and I know our accounting society will do taxes for locals for free as a part of gaining experience. No need to worry, they are all trained and certified before they are allowed to do it. Its a great deal, all it takes is a phone call or two to find out. Maybe even an email

Online is the best way. I've been telling you this for the past 3 years. If not then try the federal builing. And why aren't your taxes done anyway what where you waiting for luck.

Lots of churches have programs to file for free and there's always the IRS accountants that will do it free if u live near their building

Try your local AARP, you don't have to be over 60. Or irs.gov let's you do them for free if your income was less then $52,000, they even have a list of other sites that will do them for free if you qualify even H & R Block believe it or not!

you waited late so they might not be doing taxes for free anymore. so try doing them yourself on the web.
