SSL is the technology that allows HTTPS. If your web site begins with https:// then it's because you're using Secure Sockets Layer technology (or certs).

HTTPS is the protocol SSL runs upon. They are used in conjunction with one another.

SSL (Secure Socket Layer's is the method of encryption) which is accessed to the user via HTTPS (Hypertext transfer protocol secure - generally port 443.)

So bascially, one is the encryption, one is the protocol.

SSL is Secure Socket Layer, part of a server configuration for transfer speed, Where as HTTP is Hyper text transfer protocol, rest you will have to decide, why you asked this question.
