how much profit is enough percentage wise

It depends on the size of your trade. 10% of a $1,000 trade isn't the same as making 10% on a $10,000 trade.

Whenever you feel like you've made enough on your trade, then sell it.

I would agree with Adam J. Many investors tend to buy at too high of a price and sell way too low. I would suggest buying and selling in increments that best keep the profits coming your way. The markets are too day to day right now for actual percentages.

There's really no hard answer to this. Some people will sell half of a stock that's doubled, though obviously this doesn't happen every day. In general though you want to make sure that most of your gains actually go to you at the end of the day instead of taxes and brokerage fees.
