i am on a national campionship dancing team there is about twenty of us on it alot of them are my friends. I am a very good dancer and on front row on all of the songs but i am not a brown noser most af my friends are on second or third row and they try to get on front row by gifts and complements, but things do not work that way so one of my friends now is constantly looking for something wrong with me and i can't do anything wrong without her blabing. i want to confront her but i do not know how.
p.s her mother is worse than she is but she puts on a very good act.

Dancing is heavy competition! I used to be a dancer. lol. Which isn't very popular for boys! lol. But I know what your talking about. Theres a lot of kissing *** invovled but the important thing to remember is to be yourself and do your best. People will see that. You may not realize but judges have been with these things for years and years and they can sense a suck up from a mile away. So long as you've earned your place where you are fair and square than good for you and you shoudl be proud of yourself! that means you've worked hard to get where you are. Your friends may have to work even harder to get where they want to be. Obviously they have some jelousy issues also which you should pay no attention too. They're being immature and you should pay into it. Continue doing what you do, give it your best and stick to it, don't let them get you down. Set a good example for them. Maybe the only way they know how to compete is to bring others down and sweet talk to get what they want. It could have been passed down from their family, like that mother you said of that one girl. If you two are friends, its best to confront her about it. Let her know how this makes you feel and that it hurts when she trys to put you down. That you worked hard to get where your at and with some more hard work onher part, she can be there also. But for the most part, be proud of yourself! Don't ever give up!

Child , just confront her. Not with attitude but tell her that you do not like the way that she is behaving. And if she is your "friend" as she says then she wouldn't even blab her mouth like that. That is not what a friend does. Friends stick together at all times, they try to help you in every possible way that they can. If she is like that then you just have to reconsider what a friend is, because she is not what i consider "friend material". Just continue doing what you're doing, and keep on practising that you don't lose your spot to her. Don't worry about her mother, just be yourself.

You need to tell your friend to back off. It's hard work that pays off not kissing ***. Tell her how you feel and that you're just trying to do what you're there to do and that she needs to worry about herself and not what your'e doing wrong. Friends are supposed to support one another not stab eachother in the back. Maybe you should try and make friends with other girls in the group, the ones in the front row, perhaps?? Who needs friends like those anyway?

Your friend is jealous! If she is a good friend she should understand if you confront her
Practice doesn't kill either if she isn't in the front row!

Your friend is jealous of your accomplishments. Stay clear of her as she is proving not to be a true friend. Continue working hard and enjoy your winnings. Do not let people who are pity put a discourage you from doing your best. Best of luck to you!
