No, you are.
Why don't you go outside and do something,
afterall you have free rights to!
I'm locked up inside of a school building, so in
that case boredom is the enemy. But in your case
you have freedom to get out and do absolutely
anything, but make positive choices!
NOW GO BE FREE! ^_^

Isn't the old saying go something like....idle hands are the devils pawns. Boredom begets frustration, the need to do something, be it right or wrong, and boredom will eventually turn into something evil if given enough time. It may not be the true enemy because you also have greed, money, selfishness, and that all leads to evil. Boredom needs to be voided with activity of good works.

well in my opinion, boredom is an enemy. I believe that when you have nothing to do or anyone to hang out with you pretty much just do NOTHING. That was stating the obvious. When you're bored, you get tired, when your tired you slack off in everyday things. Which sucks. So if you don't want boredom to be your enemy, get out there and have fun with your friends, get more involved at work, make things fun in your life.

Boredom is the price the unobservant pay. Learn to look and see and feel and hear all that is going on about you.
Don't block things out because you think you already know what the sky looks like or what a bird sounds like or what fresh air feels like. If you do, you consign yourself to a fruitless pursuit of the "new." And it is truly fruitless because "there is nothing new under the sun."
What is new and what prevents boredom is a fresh way of looking at things.. Too bad we have to get to be 80 before we understand that simple truth.

Boredom is pretty far down on my list of enemies. I'd put hatred and intolerance at the top, cruelty, oppression, violence, religious zeal (dogma, fundamentalism, whatever you want to call stuffing your beliefs down everyone else's throats)....ooooh, this is starting to bum me out....
I think you get my picture!
