today i attended a entrepaneurship masterclass, and it has realy inspired me to get going with my life. we had some guest speakers such as jonathan jay ( author of 'sack your boss' ) and another the manager of mC donalds where we live.

what i did not ask was the followin questions - and i wondered if you could help.

what is a good type of business to start with? ( keeping it small here - but, computing, clothing, ???)

roughly how much money would i have to start with?

and do you have anything else you would like to share with me about business.

First piece of advise is do something you love. Your interest will come thru to your customers.
Second piece is get involved with something you know more then just a little bit about.
Thirdly you can start on the Internet. Try selling on a variety of sites of course Ebay is the biggest. Learn how to deal with presenting a product, interacting with customers etc.
As for the money side that depends alot on what your interests are. General rule if you are going to be buying stuff is make sure you can sell it for a minumum of twice what you paid for it.
You can expand to a web site, a mall store etc. but each level cost more and more.
Assume you will make no money for at least 3 months and maybe even 6.
Hope this helps aim you in the right direction.
