"Lips of an Angel" is a power ballad by Oklahoma City rock band Hinder. It was the second single off of the Extreme Behavior album, and has been the band's breakthrough single, having reached #3 of the Billboard Hot 100 and the top three of the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
Jack Ingram's second album which is due in late March 2007 has the first single from the album "Lips of an Angel," a cover of a hit for the rock group Hinder.

Hinder was the orignial artist of "Lips of an Angel", Jack Ingram did a country remake..which in my opinion sucked even though i do like country music too..it really suckedd

Hinder did it first. I may be crucified for this, but I like Jack Ingram's better. I think the lead singer from Hinder sounds like he is sitting on the toilet taking a painful s*#t.

Its Hinder off of their Extreme Behavior album. And in my opinion it should STAY as a Hinder song

Hinder did it first. Ingram's is so lackluster in comparison it may kill his career.

haha when you listen to radio pop **** then yea probably...when you listen to real music... listen to My Morning Jacket's Live Citsuoca and tell me that isnt pure brilliance. that is really him singing live, not some computer or machine. himself only. i heard him live, he makes mistakes because hes human but he sings everything..bcus he makes real music for his fans.

its Hinder...they did it first, the country version was a copy from hinder...screw country music!!!!!!!!!
