wow--I can associate that with living on a military base with the constant noise of jets taking off...
It took me about a month to be able to "tune it out." Once I left and came back to visit it started all over again.
Try not to fret--you will soon learn the art of ignoring it and then your friends will ask how you can live so close.

getting used to it will be easy unless you used to living where there is no niose maybe 1 or 2 weeks at the longest
