What makes you think that Hillary Clinton can speak for ALL women?
She can BARELY speak up for herself and her husband's infidelities!
Hillary Clinton speaks for ALL women, like Al Sharpton speaks for ALL African-Americans!

I am dumbfounded by the woman claiming that she will not vote for Clinton because she is a woman. Lady, your stupidity is utterly ... dumbfounding. There is no other way to describe my reaction to your total lack of ... anything resembling intellect. I have NO respect whatsoever for women like you. None. And the sad, domestic little life you'll live is hardly recompense for the pity and annoyance you've caused me and women like me. It's 2007, not 1877! The whole Victorian morality thing, SO over! (The way she was talking, though, I seriously doubt she will vote ... probably let her moronic husband - because any man who would marry a women with so low an opinion of herself is, undoubtably, a moron- decide what candidate she picks if she does)
Anyways, Hilary is doing a great deal for women as it is! She can't take a particularly radical stand until she's elected (and I WILL be voting for her), but afterward, there's so much she can do for the betterment of women's legal equality!! She can force the military to revoke the combat exclusion of women, etc. The simple fact that she's RUNNING for the presidency, against the backdrop of Pelosi's victory, is doing a great deal for women by publicizing our ability to handle the spotlight/ascend to such high levels of power. CLINTON '08!

Hillary Clinton is NOT the person to mobilize a new voice for all women. That is, of course, unless you want to promote women as being ruthless, scheming, two-faced, unprincipled, unethical, back-stabbing, and only concerned about their own advancement above all else (no matter how many people get trampled along the way). She doesn't have the credibility to be convincing or persuasive to women, and no man in his right mind would trust her any farther than he could comfortably throw an M-1 tank. What we need is a woman who will promote cooperation and understanding between the genders, not someone who champions an "us vs. them" mentality. Working together will level the playing field a heck of a lot faster than any power struggle will.

i does no longer flow so some distance as to assert she is the best lady alive yet she does understand the political section rather properly. i visit't truly say about Condoleeza Rice because i do not understand that a lot about her. i could have voted for Hillary if she had gotten the nomination. I do imagine she is qualified to be president.

She can let someone who really IS a new voice run. What Hillary has brought that is new is the proof that a woman can compete in a cutthroat environment of power-politiking, which has less to do with women than to do with self-advancement. She's not in this for women, just for herself.

I think the first step would be to help young women believe in themselves as capable, intelligent beings, able to care for themselves. Empowering all women politically and personally would be the next step, and then making policies to put those ideas into action.
Great question.
Good luck.

The best thing Hillary can do to help ANY cause is dis-associate herself from it.
