I see many places on the web that reference men wearing pantyhose. I also see questions here on this site wear men ask for 'acceptance' for wearing pantyhose. Many of the answers I see are responses where they'd think the guy wearing the pantyhose is gay? I'm not sure what the two have in common? So by wearing a certain article of clothing, that automatically makes a man prefer another man??

I happen to wear them and I am married with 2 children. I am not the slightest bit interested in men.
I find pantyhose very comfortable and I think they look good.
I love seeing them on women. They make a woman's legs look great.

I personally feel that if a man is confident enough to wear them in public, I feel he is more 'manly' than a man who wouldn't. Those guys who walk around trying to look 'tough' and 'bad' are trying to prove something to the world and trying to convince the world how 'tough' they are.
So that's more attractive than a man who happens to wear pantyhose?

I don't see anything wrong with a guy wearing pantyhose. I think It takes a lot of guts to state this in a public form.

I wore pantyhose when I played semi-pro football to keep warm when I played in cold weather the same with other players on my team.

So everyone just get over it. What you wear does not choose what you are sexually it's all in the way you are made.

ok ok ok. wait a second. are we talking about pantyhose or tights? If its tights I would be 100% in agreement with you...or even 200%....

but pantyhose? Now why on earth would a straight man wear them? Were they not designed to make a woman's leg look more sleek?....(something a man's leg is not necesarily ment to be...) and then came razors...and wax....

Useing them perhaps as long johns might make sense but you are actually talking about useing them like as... I dont get it.

pantyhose on a straight man? Now this whole gay man issue going on well... not just any gay man uses pantyhose...only the feminine ones that dress like sexy woman. Some gay men wouldnt be caught dead in pantyhose - these are the macho sexy weight lifting ones.

anyhow. either way wear what feels right.... i hope noone takes that too literally - their birthday suit doesnt count unless it's worn on a nude beach in brazil.

Not at all. No article of clothing can dictate some ones sexual orientation. On a side note, some special forces candidates (SEALS come to mind) wear pantyhose when they are doing beach landing training. It keeps the sand from rubbing them raw on their thighs. Some NFL players in the past would wear pantyhose when the weather was cold before the commercial availability of spandex. I say wear what ever you want and if people have a problem with that let them, just be happy with your self.

A man is not automatically gay because he wears pantyhose. He just has a pantyhose fetish or likes to do a little cross-dressing.

Wearing pantyhose or any other womens clothes does not make you gay. If you like wearing them and your wife doesn't mind, it shouldn't matter what anybody else thinks.

No... But definitely out of the mainstream. I would be more likely to assume that he is a fetishist or a crossdresser than gay as such. But I'm sure most people would assume you're gay.

The mere fact that you want to wear such an uncomfortable item of clothing in the face of pervasive social scorn pretty much puts you in the fetishist category in my admittedly imperfect judgment.

I know a lot of athletic men who wear pantyhose. They say they keep their hairs from being pulled when taped or whatever. I know some who shave for the same reason. Doesn't make them any less manly. Hooray for you.

Not at all. In fact, 90% of crossdressers are straight . That's a fact.

there are many reasons a man might wear them, comfort (especially if he suffers varicose veins), warmth, control, aesthetics, even being a straight transvestite. none of which have anything to do with homosexuality... of all the gay men I know, I have never met one who wears them, except a couple who were also transvestites, which is a separate issue.
