I stopped taking birth control pills around the 1st of Feb and had a period on Feb 5th. I was on the pill to ease my cramps. I have never been irregular. I was due for my period yesterday and have not had it. I have had tender breasts and have been overly tired. I took a home test yesterday and it was negative, would it of shown up yesterday and if I wasnt going to get my period from the pills would I have tender breasts and other pms symtoms? Thank You.

Hiya, im on the pill for the same reason as you but also as extra proctection. The annoying thing about our bodys are that the more we worry about something then the more it doesnt happpen. For example at the moment your worrying that your pregnant, therefore you wont come on your period. Its bascially natures way of being a ba*terd lol. How long ago did you start your pill? If it was less than 3 months ago then it takes 3 months for your body to get used to the pill and for u to rely on when your going to come on your period. It sounds like you come on 4 days after u stop taking your pill (thats the same as me) I've had many pregnacy scares dont worry. You no what email me and we will tlk some more. dont worry x

I'd say at this point you are 50/50 on this one.

On one hand, periods are often inexplicably late and your symptoms sound like PMS

On the other hand, stopping BC makes you more likely to get pregnant (as opposed to never taking it at all)...

It really could be either, and it might be too soon for a test to tell or sometimes tests are just inaccurate.

I've heard that it doesn't matter where you buy the test, it's a simple chemical reaction and they should all work the same.

Good luck either way!

this is from combating the bc. it could take probable as much as 3 months to your device to regulate back. people who've unusual sessions can take bc to regulate them so this is kinda an analogous for persons that have been on bc for a on an analogous time as, it could Irregulate them. The blood exams are very very very precise even in very early stages of being pregnant so if it stated detrimental then it somewhat is a detrimental. As for drained and the different indicators, bc has hormones in them, combating them motives your hormones to regulate from the suddenly lacking drugs and it will reason this additionally.
