You can be subtle...try redirecting his focus to your lips or other areas. You could also try introducing a lubricant like KY into the mix. My husband was hesitant about it at first but it has made a world of difference, now he's the one to grab for the bottle of it.

If he is offended that means he doesn't really care/love you as much as you think he does....he is only after the sex
I also have the same problem and I was embarrassed at first also to tell my husband (at the time we were sleeping together, we were engaged) that it felt so uncomfortable and even hurt at times because I wasn't wet enough. Eventually it got to the point where I was just too uncomfortable I didn't want to do it anymore when he would initiate it...so he asked me and I told him. I thought right away, he'd be angry and feel like he's not doing enough but instead I was pleasantly surprised because he wasn't that way at all, he was so caring like holding me for one thing and the next time he went to the store he picked up lubricants (which I would have done myself, but I didn't know about them because he was my first....all I knew was use condoms).

The truth is that at different times of the month, it will take varying amounts of time to "get ready". When you're most fertile, it takes less time because you have more natural secretions even without foreplay. When you're least fertile, it takes more time because you have almost no natural secretions. Read up on what happens during your cycle - educate your guy. Tell him that there will be times when it may take longer...or when you may need to use a lubricant. It's no big deal.

It's not a bad idea to keep a small bottle of lube in the table or just near by to help get started. or you can use a little after you have your forplay session.

I have the same problem. All I said to my man was that I dry out quickly and that it's always been an issue for me and that I wanted to go shopping with him to find some tasty lube treats to fix the problem...He was excited about shopping for the stuff and using warming lubes and other such things is always mroe exciting anyway. You just need to reassure him that it has nothing to do with his performance. :)

tell him to slap some lube on that sucker. i know how you feel, it takes me a little bit to get moist enough, and my husband it takes like mere seconds for him to be ready, usually he licks it first, that helps because of the saliva. you could go down on each other beforehand and it would eliminate the problem.

Good question. I usually just say "Ow" as he's trying to put it in, and he gets the point that I'm not ready yet.

You should just be honest with him but tell him it's not his fault, it's just the way you work. If he is offended or mad at that, then he is a jerk.
