First, read the book The Secret [it should put you in the best frame of mind for your quest]. Then start thinking outside of the box of conventional thinking. Daydream about whatever it is that would make your life easier, more pleasurable, more beautiful,healthier, more efficient etc.. Chances are, that if your creative and determined enough, you'll discover that pot of gold . Read all you can about marketing ideas and/or obtaining patents. You can educate yourself right into a great place. Keep daydreaming.

Provide business services to other small businesses. I know several people who are doing this and making amazing money. One of the ways is to provide an "office to go." Your office takes their phone calls, accepts their mail, etc.
Business owners are great to work with. They pay on time and do not, as a rule, quibble about your rates. Set out exactly what your services are and your rates. Have them sign your contract.
