does the two red lences on the trunk lid lite up are they reflectors?

i have a ford escort gl all my lites work. but the two i need help on.

just look at the part in question- if it has a bulb in behind it it's a light, if it has only a solid prisim pattern it's likely just a reflecter.

Open the back hatch and see if there is any panel that comes off and so you can if there is any lights ,sockets,etc, if not then they are reflectors.
