I know there are plenty of them in South Carolina, but I heard there was one here in North Carolina.

Calabash is a town in NC, right across the state line from SC going north. They have several seafood restaurants there. The term doesn't originate in SC like the person above stated. He must be from SC and the term is not generic

Calabash is kinda of a generic term they use in South Carolina and not the name of the retaurant itself. When I go to Myrtle Beach in the summer all the seafood buffets call it a "Calabash Buffet". Like Crabby Mike's Calabash Seafood Buffet or The Captain's Table Calabash Seafood Buffet

I think my sister works at one in Sc. She lives in or around Calabash NC. I don't think there is one in NC. It is actually called Calabash Seafood and like them too.

on the East Coast and in trouble-free terms this weekend toddler seals have been found beached/ineffective. Their inner organs shown all rubber indoors the muscle tissues and that they are nevertheless attempting to get an entire analysis. Makes me chuffed i've got no longer ordered any form of fish in an quite long term!!! I in many circumstances love seafood yet for some unusual reason i've got no longer been involved.

there is one in myrtle beach south carolina...thats the only one i know of...its good eatin'!!
