ok..that is because it already running , u have to un install it fiert and u can not uninstall a program meanwhile it' running ... follow that >>>> run ur computer in safe mode ... go to start>run and type msconfig then choose diagnostic from the general box and then restart ur computer and try to uninstall the antivirus by any ways ,, add/remove program from the control panel or any other way and after that do not forget to do all over again but choose normal instead of diagnostic and also do not forget my 10 points ...lol

First Uninstall the existing copy.
either 1. start/control Panel/ add remove programs
your virus program
or c:/program files/ xxxxvirus pgm
uninstall.exe.
If you have firewall program like ZoneAlarm/Kerio Personal Firewall
disable them.
Now you try to reinstall the antivirus program. Okay ?
Go to its web site and update. ( restore Firewall program if any)

Why not get hold of an antivirus online.
Check out AVG from http://free.grisoft.com/
