Simply put...no. The earth goes through cycles of heating and cooling, and has been doing so for millions of years. The planet is still in the "ice age," but we're still in the warming phase of the cycle. It will continue to warm up, then it will reach a peak mean temperature, after which the temperature will drop back down. This is not something that occurs over night, but it has been proven over and again by competent scientists. Humans have survived to this point and will continue to endure for some time to come.

I think it's going to happen a long, long way from here - and by the time it poses any major threat, chances are we'll have the technology to relocate to Mars. Plus, let's not forget the threats of nuclear war, asteroids and the chance of the Earth spinning off its axis into the sun. I don't think it's our place to worry about the end just yet - chances are, you won't see the end of civilisation for years and years to come. It's a media frenzy which has overloaded our worry circuits into believing that we'll all be dead by August.

Oh, and don't forget nanobots. Who knows, one minute we could be here, the next we're all grey goo. We won't know about it. Live for today - be careful, and preserve for tomorrow, but let's not spend all our lives worrying about how everything's going to stop. We barely know how it began!

The sun will supernova but not for billions of years so you won't see it. Global warming is not a threat to anybody on this plant at this time or in the forseeable future. Relax and don't buy into the propaganda.

No, we won't die because of global warming. We'll die because some idiot pressed the button.

You'd have a better chance of dying at the business end of a shotgun with me pulling the trigger.

We, you and I, won't.
I figure World War III or some cosmic disaster will be the thing to do us in. Who knows, God is tight-lipped about the whole end of the world scenario.

If by "we" you mean you and I. I sincerely doubt it.
Humans are pretty adaptable, but yes, surely GW (note the resemblance to a certain powerful figure?) will kill some unfortunates who dont have options to adapt.'
