Depends on how old he is...under 5 or so, i dont see why not, let him play with whatever he wants...as he gets older, he should switch away from them because of the way his friends are....if your worried about him becoming gay, taking them away might be the worst thing cuz then he'll wonder why and become more interested in playing with girl things...like penises other than his own...this is not good....barbies are fine, theyre just action figures with a female connotation

Yes! Play is just play. I thought all those dreadful old stereotypes (guns for boys, dolls for girls) died in the 70s when parents started using their brains when rearing children, instead of folk law.
Let him have a range of educational toys, fun action toys, and imaginative toys, like teddy bears and dolls if he wants them.
If you want further information, take a look at the American Psycholigical Association's website. There is no link between playing with dolls and growing up gay!!
