Vista comes pre-installed with Microsoft Works, which is a toned-down version of Microsoft Office. if you have a copy of Microsoft office, you can install it on your Vista machine (including office 2003 and I think 2000) or you can buy a new copy, which wil have more features and include PowerPoint. Try this free trial to see if you this is right for you: http://us7.trymicrosoftoffice.com/countrychooser.aspx?url=http%3a%2f%2fus1.trymicrosoftoffice.com%3a8700%2fconnect.aspx%3fcmd%3doffice_product%26dialect_id%3den-GB%26app%3dofficehomestudent%26key_type%3dtrial%26re_ms%3doo&culture=en-US

Office, word, power point, excell...are a seprate program. You may need to reinstall your Office copy. If you installed Vista over XP the program should still be there. You need to find the folder that should be labeled office.

Press the green circle on the bottom left corner, then go to the programs menu, find Microsoft office(looks like a folder) then select PowerPoint.
Good luck
