Ben is really not that good. He's just adequate. A QB like Brady in Pittsburgh would make them a dynasty again.

I think the Steelers are fine with Big Ben but when you throw out names like Palmer and Brady...well I am not sure. Ben fits the system but Brady is a Hall of Famer and Palmer might very well get in at the end of his career. I would be intrigued with the situation that some QB's would give the Steelers but overall I like Big Ben and think he will continue his winning ways this yr.

If you look at the number of starts Ben has had including college, he's gotten to a championship faster than any other quarterback I can remember over the last 25 years. In the long run, Ben will be just fine. Would they be better with Brady at QB? Which team WOULDN'T be better? But you can only pick the best available QB and play the players available.

This one is interesting. I think that Ben has all the physical talents that he needs to become a great QB. I think under Cohwer, he was definitely the right guy for the job. Palmer and Brady and the like play a different game. It really depends on the scheme that Tomlin wants to run. If Tomlin wants a run-first offense like Bill had, I think he still fits. If he wants to "air it out" Ben is not the guy.....yet. Hopefully he can come off of this bad season he just had and make an impact again. I hate the theory that a QB is "great" just because he wins a ring. Ben is solid, and we could do a lot worse.

in all honesty i think his accuracy needs to improve, he needs to be able to pass effectively and not rely on the run so much, and i think that will happen. I think he'll get progressively better each year. Last season was frustrating because the team could have done a lot better as a whole, and a good portion of the problems they had circulated around ben's injuries, but not all the problems...............regardless of who the steelers had behind center, i don't think things would have been much different, especially if you look at their performance against the ravens. So, no I don't think they would be better with another QB, I think Ben's gonna do great.

I think hes fine with the Steelers theyre really not a fast offense anyway they dont need a Carson Palmer i mean look at bens record i think hes fine. AFC champ 1st 2 seasons in the league and a ring the second come on what d ou think. What they need is a power running back to take sum pressure off of him.

No, those other two are a bit too concerned with their headlines. Ben is much more of a team guy. He can make the "O" sing when he's healthy. He can handle anything thrown at him, as his playing last season showed. He def. got rushed back from injury/surgery too soon & his play showed it, but he showed the heart needed to try & take it on anyway. Most other QB's would have taken a month off, but Ben was there trying to pull it off for his team. He's a keeper & I'll take him above those other prima donnas.

he is fine, the only reason he got so much criticism last year was because of all of his injuries, i think any team would be better w/ carson palmer or tom brady because those two guys are just good. big ben is fine, give him and tomlin a year and they will be back to the playoffs.

Big Ben is the QB for us. He started a great career for a great franchise. All he needs to do is get to where he was a year ago, healthy and confident and lead us to another Super Bowl. Yes he had a bad year getting in an accident then the apendix didn't help him this year at all. He is our new Bradshaw and is ready to lead us to four more Super Bowls.

I think they should stick with Big Ben. Last year was one of those very strange situations. Prior to last year Ben was getting the job done under the offensive structure set up for him. I don't see that changing even with a new head coach. Remember, all of these QB's have offensives designed to get the maximum out of their individual talents.
