12 man head to head. I can keep 1 pitcher...the choices are:
Brett Myers
Chris Young
Chris Capuano
John Garland

I'm leaning towards Myers, but Young is an option.

Personally I would keep Capuano I think he is on the verge of a really solid career. I would also say the Young would also be a good choice.

I think what people are missing is that you are not looking for advice on who to keep next year, it is who to designate from last years team that you will be keeping for this years team entering your upcoming draft.

Keep Myers or Young, both are good choices. If you release Myers, the other teams would go after him first. His main purpose is K's, but if you look at K's to IP Chris Young is just nasty but has been limited in the number of innings he has pitched. This is his third year and with a new coach you should expect that he may approach 220 innings this year and close to 200 K's in a pitcher friendly park.
You could take a chance on leaving him available in the draft and trying to get him back in the third round.

Either one could be a good keeper, but I would be more inclined to keep Myers just because his name would come up first in the draft if you don't. Then take your chances at getting Young back in the draft.

I would keep Myers, but keep an eye on the situation that he might be moved to the closer role if needed. If that happens keep Young.

Yep, Myers or Young. I would take Myers if it weren't for his habit of beating up his wife. Go with Young.
