Well, is there a reason for this?
if in your opinion there is not you need to confront the family...and see whats up...tell them how your feeling...and make it clear.
if you think their might be a reason, that could possibly be valid, then soften your approach and still sit down and talk with them.

At first i would feel sorry for myself, this will pass, I would ask the person i`m with why ... If i felt that i didn`t get a satisfactory answer, I would then not get involved with the family again.
