Your a good friend to say that :) yip be his friend, sexuality is a very small part of the make up of a human being.
His emotions and feelings are the same as yours. Support the boy, he needs it.
Dont run with the pack, stand up as an individual.
It does nt mean you want to jump his bones if you stay friends but it does mean that you are a true friend.

You obviously thought you were worthy of each others friendship before you found out he was gay. The others most likely just feel uncomfortable with their own sexuality and will probably come round eventually.Dont be a sheep and follow the crowd.Show this guy who his TRUE friend is!.Good luck

It's entirely up to you whether you stay friends with this guy. Most gay men and women are very nice people and make terrific friends. Don't take any notice of what your other straight friends say, it's your business. If I were you I would definitely stay friends with him.

you must be quite young. Stay friends with him , usually times like this you have to make a choice, and when you do it can conclude with the road that your friendship can take, it can 1) end here OR 2) stay friends , he will realise what a mature and reliable person you are and stay loyal to you.
Its your choice....NOONE else, if you stay friends, then you keep a friend, if you dont YOU loose him, not your friends!

So....what's your question? You know you must choose. No one can do it for you. Its weird boy or the other friends. Not everyone wants to associate with gay people. Not everyone wants to avoid them. What's your stand? Gonna run with the pack or be a dark horse?

You should stay friends with him he has done nothing wrong, ok he has stated he is gay, so what, if your other mates are so shallow that they want to dump him because of this, do not follow them, he probably needs you right now please do not walk away from him.
