It sounds like what would be called sexual assault. He didn't penetrate but "did other things" and if those other things were of a sexual nature, which I assume they were based on the fact that you say he attempted to have sex then it would be sexual assault. A definition of sexual assault is: "any type of sexual activity that you do not agree to, including: inappropriate touching, vaginal, anal, or oral penetration, sexual intercourse that you say no to, rape, attempted rape, child molestation. Sexual assault can be verbal, visual, or anything that forces a person to join in unwanted sexual contact or attention." If that is the case, you should consider contacting the proper officials...it's not rape, but it's DEFINITELY not okay.

You'd have to be more specific but yes it could still be considered rape if it was forced. You should contact the police and explain the situation in detail so they may proceed.

No but it is attempted rape and that's still illegal so if this happened to you call the police. They can charge him with attempted rape and sexual assult.

Sexual assault is any physical contact of a sexual nature without voluntary consent. Sexual assault can take place by anyone and anywhere. While associated with rape, sexual assault is much broader and the specifics may vary according to social, political or legal definition

Yes. If you are touched in a uncomfortable way and you say no..it is rape...you should really do something about it..report him...and speak to a grief counsler ... they offer counsling at hospitals for cases like yours.

well in my personal opinion I would say yes. If he still did some time of sexual thing to you then I would consider it rape. If he just touched you and wouldnt leave you alone I would have to say it was prob. sexual abuse.

it's not rape. rape is when the man has sex with you without your consent. forcing you to have sex. if he didn't enter you, he did not rape you. but other things he may have done (touching in a sexual manner without your consent)are definately considered SEXUAL ASSULT!!
