I think in some situations we should. I do think there comes a time when a woman has to admit she's too old to be carrying and then caring for a newborn but as long as she's under 55 and healthy I don't see a problem with it. Especially with all the advances that have come along in infertility treatments. For all we know a woman may have tried for years to get pregnant and never could back then. Why not try again now if she still longs to have a child? I believe every woman deserves the chance to be a mother if that is what her heart longs for.

Well I do not see a problem with it. Some women just do not have time with their careers and when they realize it.. life has passed them by.. then they see that children should have fit in somewhere along the way.. so I think that if they feel like they are healthy and willing to have children then they should have that chance. If the average women lives to 80, then it should be fair for the children.

no they're too old to raise a child. they'll need their kids to take care of them before the child is through needing care. if the parent dies of an age related illness, who raises the child then? can the parent run and play with the child? will the parent understand their children and accept that their world is different? just because someone CAN do a thing, doesn't mean they SHOULD.

SURE why not. SOME women couldnt have children. WHy not give them a second chance.

i think it is horrible that old women have kids b/c they will die soon and their child will be left alone. yeah a young mom could die too, but an old mom knows b/c her age she won't be around long. its selfish. especially when they expect their teenager to take care of them, when they shouldn't have the stress of caring for their old parents.

no because nature intends the mother to be young, fit and healthy to raise their kid not their kid looking after them cause they are old
