You may think you are doing a good job, but MJ fuzzes up your mind. How can you do a good job or pay attention to details with your mind all fuzzy? And yes I have tried it. Didn't like it. I'd rather be in control of my thoughts and actions.

I am a fantastic employee and I smoke pot on a daily basis. BUT-- I don't ever smoke before work- only when my daily responsibilities are done and I am ready to relax. It is possible to smoke and do a good job (depending on you occupation) but I do not reccommend it--- just like you should not get drunk before you go to work.

Well it depends how much you smoke!
Is it possible to drink before your job and still do good work?
This is not much of a question, even worse than some of those I post!
Most heavy pot smokers aint good employees, bit like boozers.

depends on what kind of work you do. If its complicated and takes a lot of brian power then it would be best to keep the smoking to after work. I found that if i smoked before work i would mess up in keeping track of things. Say if you were a musician though, it would be good to smoke before work!

If what I've heard about marijuana from various sources ---that it affects your judgment and saps your ambition --- is accurate, I would be inclined to say no. If you're the one who smokes pot, get off of it. If you have an employee who smokes pot, get rid of that person.

Some of the smartest people I have ever known were devout pot heads. The valedictorian of my high school class was high 24-7.

It depends on the person and the type work. I know people who perform physical work better when high - but in my case, it slows me down and makes me lazy. I do have a more vivid imagination when high though .....so work requiring imagination would definitely benefit from some smokage ...
