Couple reasons. Weak script built around a novelty, bad director (Joel Schumacher, Batman Forever fame), and Jim Carrey doing drama to prove he's a serious actor. Again.

For me... because I was put in care and I was known and referred to, as 'number 23' for one whole year!

I've never liked the number ever since... though it was 47 years ago.

Now then this could get complicated: If we add 4 to 1 and double it and then add that amount again and add 3 - what have we got? A long winded, boring way to say avoid at all costs
