Perhaps if Scooter Libby had done something sexual an lied about would that pleas the conservatives? Libby lied about issues of national security. The attacked a writer who was exposing the lies of Bush and whey went to war in Iraq. So Cheney and his boys out CIA operative as means of attacking her husband. I guess they use the excuse all for "national security."

Libby lied during a federal investigation about the lies that led to war.
Clinton lied about his sex life in a 6 year investigation into a real estate deal, of which no laws were broken.
