These arent real trades yet, but just stuff i either read about or just thought about.

1. Raiders trade Randy Moss to the Packers for Aaron Rodgers, and then raiders select #1 Calvin Johnson. Seems like a big win for the Raiders. They could spend the rest of the draft trying to sure up the oline.

2. Lions trade down with the cardinals #5 overall, the cardinals trade up to #2 to grab joe thomas the best linemen on the board, and the lions gather extra picks and can probably still get Brady Quinn at #5 the cardinal original pick.

3. The Vikings trade up to #3 to grab Calvin Johnson, assuming calvin is still there of course, and Browns trade down to #7 get extra picks and probably still pick adrian Peterson at #7, As none of the picks before #7 seem to be in need of a running back. This trade seems a little dangerous with the texans there At #8, could maybe jump ahead to #5 or #6 to grab Adrian Peterson.

What do you think of these possible trades? How realistic do they seem?

#1 scenario is a real scenario, The raiders originally wanted a 2nd round pick for moss, but the packers countered with rodgers, the only real sticking point was Moss's salary is too big for the packers, and moss looks to be unwilling to renegotiate. Which is opening the door for a possibly trade with the patriots. I believe the price for moss is a 3rd round pick and wide receiver in return.

#2 #3 are completely made up scenarios by me, At least as far as I know. In the third scenario its the brown at 3 trading down to 7. The only reason I mention the texans are cause at #8 it might not take much to trade up to #6 which is currently held by the redskins who needs extra picks. And if it doesnt cost much even though the texans have signed green, getting another young back like peterson might be worth it, especially considering age and injury prone green is.

1. That makes some sense as long as the Raiders bring a veteran in, maybe a Trent Green type. Also, even though he hasn't played much, Rodgers is developing a reputation for being soft. But he's got 2 years under contract, it's basically swapping out Russell and an unhappy Randy Moss for Rodgers and Johnson.

2. For the life of me, I don't know why Arizona isn't actively trying to move up to two. Maybe they're waiting till draft day (theoretically, it's risky to do now, in case somebody loves Thomas enough to move up to 1, and then zona's screwed, not needing peterson, quinn/russell, and even calvin would be a luxury). But the Cards have all that money invested in Edge and Lienert, you'd think they'd want a franchise OT.

3. Again, it would have to be a draft day deal because of what you mentioned about Houston, however, I don't personally think the Texans are in the position to be giving up picks, they need tons of help everywhere.

Of them all, I think #2 makes the most sense.

#1 is very likely (I should say reasonable, because anything reasonable with the Raiders isn't likely to happen HA!) because the Raiders are asking too much for Moss and the Patriots probably can't afford him after spending all that money on Adalius. The Packers don't want to get rid of Rodgers for Moss, but since people are talking alot about Favre staying another 2 seasons rather than one, they're more likely to let him go and give another rookie 2 seasons under Favre's tutalage. The Raiders getting Rodgers AND Johnson seems like a dream come true for them. I don't know if they have this planned, but it seems genius to me!!! The Raiders might have to give up a late round pick as well, though, which they might not be willing to do.

#2 The Lions need a lineman just as bad as the Cards do! The only way they'll do this deal is if #1 happens, because they'll take Troy Smith over Brady Quinn, who would be available. Joe Thomas is way more valuable than Quinn right now.

#3 Texans don't need Peterson anymore, they keep stealing Green Bay's running backs!!! (Gado last year, now Green).

#1 there is no way any team is trading more than a 2nd, or 3rd or 4th round pick for Moss right now. The Pats think they might get him cheap because his value is down right now. GB isnt going to give up their next qb for Moss. Oakland's taking Russell and thats that. They're not taking Quinn, and the guy that wrote they will take Troy Smith has no clue. He's not even the 3rd best QB in the draft.

#2 I can see this happening since Detroit got a Guard and they can get more picks. Arizona needs Joe Thomas.

#3

#1 seemed right off the bat to be a realistic senario and one I never thought of before. But, is the Pack willing to trade Rodgers, especially since Favre at best may only have a decent year or worse. Calvin Johnson is Al Davis's type of guy, can stretch the defense deep, but is Rodgers ready to take over as a starter in either place? Will the Raiders be able to keep him on his feet.

I would love if your #3 actually happened! Your #2 is also a deal that might go down. Your #1 won't happen Moss won't restructure to go to the Packers who are years away from a super bowl run especially now that the Pats are knocking and already made some key pick ups to make sure the Colts are won and done at going to the big game.

its possible since hearing about the recent rumors and the recent trades going down some of those are unlikely like for instance:

#1 I think the Patriots are more interested in Moss than GB it would only make since if Randy Moss went to the Patriots

#3 I dont think the Texans are going to want Adrian Peterson, because they traded for Ahman Green. They alrweady have Dominic Williams (Dominic Davis)

But I really like your #2 that makes alot of since!!!!!!!!

No way in Hell are the Packers letting Aaron Rodgers go...Are you nuts?...Favre has one more season, and then Aaron Rodgers is the starting QB...Unless they suddenly decide a way to get JaMarcus Russell or Brady Quinn, forget about it...

I'm crying the Raiders didn't make that trade looking back. Moss- retired? Rodgers- probably best QB in the league. Megatron- best WR in the league

well Ahman Green is a texan so they probaly wont be drafting a rb, at least not early. And all of those draft scenarios seem real wishy washy. Probaly not gonna happen.
The only one i could see happening is the 1st.
Someone needs to trade with the bills to get willis out of here

LIONS NEED AN O-Line . theyve never had one and need to start one. Hey i no lets draft another WR. Theyve been good to us. Especially Rogers. Kitna proved he can throw, he needs to prove that he can win, not lose, games. I say draft an O-lineman or trade down for a Dre Bly replacement (Leon Hall out of Michigan).
