I'm planning on going to Orlando and Visit Disney and Universal during April 6 to April 11. It is a good date? how is the crowd on those dates?

thanks

The last couple of trips that I have taken to Disney have been the week of Easter. I too am going to be down there April 6th with my family, and staying until the 14th, and to be honest I am not worried about the crowds. I know lots of people do it, but I just have a hard time taking my kids out of school to go to Disney, or anywhere else on vacation. I am not trying to offend anyone, you do whatever you want. I am talking about my family only. Our last trip was Easter week from Holy Saturday to the Saturday after Easter, and believe me I have seen the crowds much worse. I would almost rather go during this time, because as someone else said, the parks are open later. They are prepared for the larger crowds, so you don't have to worry about the more popular attractions being closed. The weather is outstanding. So, there are some crowds. If you have ever been to Disney at Christmas, you wold see crowds. My parents were there at that time, and said that they would choose Easter over Christmas anytime.

Hope you have a great trip!! I will be there at the same time, and I certainly plan too!!!

That's during Easter break, isn't it? If so, it's one of the worst times of year to be in Orlando. If not, it would be fairly busy but not packed like it normally is during the summer and holidays. Either way, be sure to take advantage of the FAST Passes at Disney -- you go up to the machine, put your ticket in, and it spits out a FAST Pass that gives you an hour window where you can walk up and get in the FAST Pass line (which usually means a wait time of 5 minutes or less). You DEFINITELY want to get FAST Passes for the most popular rides like Soarin' and Test Track at EPCOT, any of the mountain rides at the Magic Kingdom, Tower of Terror and Rock N' Roller Coaster at the Studios, and Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom

My family went on those days last year...and we're going again this year....it is a busy time of year and the lines at disney world are anywhere from 30 mintues to 2 hours but we (even with a 1 1/2 year old) still had a great time and its also great weather....its summer weather but not too hot

whats up, i'm from Wi too and we pass right down to Disney a minimum of three times a year. i do no longer pass to time-honored by way of fact it is not something i'm drawn to. I went some years in the past by way of fact I had a unfastened fee ticket and that i won't have the capacity to be back. It replaced into grimy and loud and the travelers and workers have been rude and obnoxious. regrettably time-honored seems to attraction to a distinctive crowd than Disney and it isn't the gang i choose for to be around. in case you like curler coasters and being taken care of like crap, head on over, you will be able to truly relish your self, yet i will persist with Disney! What approximately Sea worldwide? they have extra some new rides and their shows are fairly cool.

yes, but peak season- so it will be busy.

Make sure to look at kids spring break schedules-- often in April.

If you don't like big crowds don't visit in the Summer (June-August)
Visit in September when kids go back to school

Don;t visit in December- christmas everyone goes

don't visit in February- many states have a winter break with kids then too.

If you don;t care about crowds- best weather is in spring and summer. (April-August) But watch for rain... and high heat.
Hope this helps.

It's one of the busiest times of the year at Walt Disney World, the week preceding Easter. However, that means the park hours will be extended, there will be additional entertainment options, and it should still be a good time in spite of the crowds.

I can't speak for Universal, but I bet it's similar.

As someone else said it's the busiest week of the year.
Weather will be beautiful but the crowds will not be beautiful!
