My friend works at a radio station and he's 18 but i've been on there several times to fill in for someone. So i guess it just depends which radio station.
Find one that you like or that you listen to a lot and ask them how old you would have to be.
Good luck!

You apply by going and getting an application. I worked at a radio station when I was 18. Where I live there is a dj who is 16 and he only works so many hours a night. Just ask them when you pick up the application. Good luck!

I work at a radio station. My boss has hired several students from the local high school. Most of them do not do on-air work, but just help out as an intern type job. But the option is open to all of them to stay on after school and do on-air work later on if they are good enough. He gets them by contacting the school, but we are always accepting applications!
