IT'S NOT YOU!!! I have the same exact problem with mine. My mother-in-law got them for me at the baby shower and loved them at first but then they LEAK like crazy. So I don't really use them anymore. And they are so expensive I think like $15 for the 3 pack of them. If I didn't have them for so long I would take them back and exchange them but I have had them for 8 months now. I thought it was just the bottles.
I do not fill past the do not fill past line EVER and mine still leak all the time. So I think we need to write to the Dr.Browns bottle people and see what they suggest we do.

Good Luck
Let me know if you find a solution to this.

I've never had any problem with the Dr Browns leaking and we've been using them since my daughter was born (she's 6 months now). Where is it leaking? Is it from the bottle or is it leaking from his mouth?

This is what we do when we use it...put the formula in the bottle. Attach the tan plug to the middle tube so that the plug is all the way in. Put the nipple through the ring and give it a tug to make sure it's in all the way. Screw the ring on tightly.

Are you using only Dr Brown's nipples? Do you only have one bottle or multiple ones, and are they all leaking?

I would assume like everyone else's answer that you may be filling past don not fill line, I on the other hand disagree that Dr. Brown bottles are any good. I watch my nephew during the week and his mother uses these, not only does he have gas all the time he spits up and the bottles are a pain in the butt! I used Gerber breastfeeding bottles for my son and the only difference is it is much quicker to make a bottle! I say buy something else, try it and if you like it better toss the Dr. Browns even if they were expensive are is it worth the waste of time? My sister in law "swears" by these bottles as well, but she has never tried anything else. Good luck either way!

My pediatrician says that the doc brown bottles don't really work any better than any other bottle.

I DO use dr. brown bottles, and believe they work very well.

They leak, especially if they are filled up past the top line....hence, the message "do not fill above line". I always fill them past the line, and they always leak, but I don't worry too much about it.

Do you burp your son religiously after he drinks? That is essential.

The center tube fills up...that is inevitable. Once your baby finishes the milk in the bottle, hold the bottle upright and wiggle it a little, and the milk in the tube will come out. Give your baby the bottle again so they can drink the milk that came out of the tube.

I understand your situation....However, I swear by dr brown bottles. I like them much more than any other type.

My son was very early and had trouble starting to feed. I used about 6 different kinds of bottles and countless types of teat before finding Dr. Brown's.
However, I too found they leaked at the side. Then I realised that it was because I was using them straight from the steriliser. Because they were still damp there was not a proper seal so the milk was coming out of the holes on the sides of the yellow bits. When I used the bottles dry this never happened.

Also some babies are windier then others. Regardless of the type of bottle you still need to wind the baby after a feed.

I use these bottles and find that the only time they leak/ middle fills with milk is when I put them in the bottle warmer with the top and straw part on. Heat the milk in the bottle and then assemble the bottle with the straw thing and the nipple. Hope this helps!

I have used those bottles and never had a problem. Make sure that that yellow top part is tightly secured into the long white tube and make sure that you do not fill the bottle above the "do not fill line".
I am not too sure but i think that they have a website if you have any problems with their products that you can contact them.

I'm surprised! I swear by these bottles!!! In fact i'm expecting baby # 3 and told my man we were gonna use these bottles. Maybe something is wrong with them... try taking them back and exchanging them... they're expensive to just throw out! Did you check to make sure the nipple wasn't inside out and that it was pulled threw the bottle ring correctly?

Good luck! But these bottles DO work!!!! (well in my opinion anyway!)
