Go public. The lottery officials pressure you to do press and go public, but you don't have to release your name. This will avoid all of the subsequent unwanted attention from long lost relatives and "friends."

I will NOT buy a car any less than a BMW while I wait for my mansion and Bentley to be made.
I will NOT go to work tomorow as I would contact an estate attorney to setup adequate protection
I will NOT not go to Disneyworld on a private jet and stay in the castle that night.
I will NOT purchase a seaside home that is not beachfront
I will NOT ever purchase a coach class ticket
I will NOT not repay my parents for all the education they provided for me.
I will NOT not help-out the rest of my family.

i would put it in the bank til the shock wore off
then think of the right ways to make it work for me

they won a one million lawsuit, and never gave us one Penney- and it was not for me, but it should have been for my kid who is struggling in collage!
