d. domain is the broadest - There are three domains. They are Eukarya, Archaea and Bacteria. There used to be 5 kingdoms which were the broadest classification level. Monera, which was all prokaryotes, was then divided into the two domains of Archea and bacteria. Domain Eukarya is divided into the four kingdoms of protista, fungi, plantae and animalia.
